At Dot Studio, we specialise in traditional screen printing, hot foil blocking, embossing, debossing and other specialist print finishes, combined with carefully selected papers and hands-on finishing techniques. Our in-studio consultations give you the opportunity to explore what's possible, handle real samples and discuss how to turn your ideas into beautifully printed pieces.

Whether you're developing an invitation, publication, packaging, stationery or a special print project, we'll help you explore different techniques, understand the technical possibilities and identify the right direction for your project.

We work with a wide range of papers readily available in the UK, including stocks from GF Smith, Antalis, Fedrigoni, Gmund, JPP and Paper Back. If your project calls for something more specific, we can also source specialist papers from international suppliers such as Heiwa Paper and Takeo, or explore other options to find the right material for your project.

Every consultation includes a Dot Studio Sample Box, featuring examples of our printing techniques, papers and finishes for you to keep and refer to throughout your project.

Before Booking Your Consultation

Please email us in advance with a brief description of your project, including any reference images, initial ideas or specific requirements. This allows us to assess whether your project is a good fit for our studio before you book a consultation.

Dot Studio specialises in traditional screen printing and specialist finishes, including hot foil blocking, embossing and debossing. We don't offer every type of printing or finishing, so we'd like to make sure we're able to help with your project before you book.

Location & Sample Box

Consultations take place at our London studio, where you can see and handle physical samples and explore our printing techniques and finishes in person.

We understand that visiting the studio may not always be possible due to distance. If you're unable to visit us, we recommend purchasing our Dot Studio sample box in advance. This will allow you to explore our techniques and finishes before discussing your project with us and help us have a more productive and informed conversation.

Important Information

Consultation fees cover our time, expertise and the services outlined in the selected package. Print production is not included and will be quoted separately once the project specifications have been established.

Graphic design, artwork creation, physical prototypes, additional research and any work beyond the agreed consultation scope are also charged separately.

A consultation does not guarantee that we will be able to undertake the production of your project. Production feasibility, costs and lead times will be assessed separately based on the final specifications.
